About

Stevie Davi
Born and raised in the California wine country, Stevie's parents had high hopes by naming her after a rock star; which was rough considering she has no talent for music. Stevie spent the majority of her childhood running barefoot through cloistered fields of wildflowers and blackberry bushes, as demonstrated by the scar she still has on her ankle from that time she stepped on a hornet's nest. The experience gave her a healthy love and respect for nature.
When she wasn't coming home late for dinner or being rushed to the emergency room, Stevie's indoor time was spent falling in love with media and literature. From super hero comics to black and white romantic comedies to documentaries on Depression Era gangsters, her tastes were considered eclectic since before she knew what that meant.

That love took her to study visual development for animation at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Since then she has worked a variety of jobs as varied as her tastes including a graphic designer, a brief stint as a newspaper cartoonist, theme park photographer, a chocolatier and a porter on the Hogwarts Express.

She presently lives and works in Salt Lake City. She strives to create stories with thought and depth, seeking to engage the imaginations of future not quite rock stars and share her general love for life.
